Decal Fitting instructions
Ensure surface is clean and free of dust and lint.
Soapy water (morning fresh) or wax and grease remover.
We use both.
Basecoat - fresh paint surface only morning fresh wax and grease can pull the colour and mark the paint.
For perfect alignment and re-positioning we almost always use the soapy water method. Peel the backing off the decal and spray with soapy water straight away then spray the surface of the area you want to put it. Put the decal on and you can slide it around until you are happy with positioning once final remove excess water with plastic applicator or credit card if it has difficulty staying down you can spray the the covering of the decal as well to soften the paper.
Leave it for at least 30 - 60 mins overnight is fine , depending on temp longer for colder ect. Remove the paper carefully after its dried and your done
Mixing Ratio for soapy water 2-3 drops in a spray bottle will do it.
If the decal picks up speed and flies off the tank to much soap.
if it has difficulty sliding more soap.
